In Consumeo we are dedicated to a waste efficient policy aiming at reducing the environmental impact of our processes towards nature and society.

On this line of work our sale's team will guide you through our sustainable green packaging and eco-friendly alternatives. This is focused towards a more environmentally conscious and competitiveness of our clients.

we can achieve sustainable green packaging through:

  • Improving sustainability: Expanding its life cycle and optimizing materials and energy in its production process.
  • Reducing its environmental impact: Maximizing the use of renewable or recycled materials and reducing carbon emissions of its production process.
  • Reducing its ecological footprint: Using safe materials in all probable end-of-life scenarios.

It is a fact that customers are much more likely to re-use high quality bags than plastic carrier bags. Therefore a high re-use rate means that your bag becomes a walking ad while benefiting the environment.

These three definitions might be useful for you to better understand our processes and propositions.
  • Recycle: return a product for processing it into another type of product in order to reduce additional raw material for the production of bags.
  • Recyclable: a product which can be collected from waste and made into another product.
  • Biodegradable: Materials capable of decomposing by the action of microorganism under conditions naturally occurring in the biosphere.
PAPERPLASTIC
POLLUTION
The use of toxic chemicals during the bleaching of the paper contributes to air pollution They are made of petrochemicals, non-renewable resources. Their litter represents a hazard to wildlife killing thousands of marine mammals every year.
CONSUMPTION
9 million trees are cut down annually for paper packaging production 4 billion plastic bags are consumed every year
RECYCLING
Paper must be returned to pulp by using many chemical to bleach and disperse the fibers. Just 10-15% get recycled Their recycling process is time consuming and expensive. Only 1% of plastic bags get recycled.
BIODEGRADABLE
Paper is degradable but in some landfills can not do it well since the lack of oxygen, water and light Petroleum based plastics photo-graded, contaminating soil and waterways with toxic waste.
